How to use the site

This page has been designed to summarise some key areas of our site.  You will find further information about Coochie Coo on the "Coochie Coo...who?" page or may find answers to particular questions on the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page.  Wherever possible we have included links to our full policies and we would like to remind you that when you place your order, you will be agreeing to our full terms and conditions.

Using our online store:

Our site has been designed with parents and customers in mind, and the understanding that your shopping experience should be simple, quick and secure, but overall enjoyable.  We have therefore designed our site to include the following features:

• Detailed descriptions on all our products and brands.

• Lots of high quality product pictures.

• A search facility for ease of navigation. 

• Opportunity to register to speed up future purchases.

• A product review and rating facility to allow you and other customers to provide invaluable feedback.

• A quick and straightforward checkout and secure payment facility.

• All sensitive information on our site is protected via 128 bit SSL encryption.

Checkout:

Once you have added all your items to your basket, you can then proceed to the checkout to complete your purchase.  At the checkout screen you will be presented with 3 options:

1. Registered customers can login to their account.

2. New users can create a new account.

3. Express checkout - This will allow you to complete your purchase without the need to register for an account.  Please note that certain features of our site (e.g. reviews and certain future promotions/special offers may only be available to registered users.

Once you have selected your chosen checkout option you will be asked to enter the details necessary to process your order.  Before submitting the order, please check your details have been entered correctly, as incorrect details may delay your order.

Delivery Options:

Once you have entered your details you will be able to view your basket which will include your items, any applicable VAT for your area, and the delivery charges applicable to your order.  If there is more than one delivery option available to you, you will be able to select your preferred delivery option.

Our standard delivery charge is calculated with reference to the overall weight of your order, and is calculated in accordance with the Guernsey Post delivery charges.  Guernsey Post treats all mail as first class post and will send mail to the United Kingdom and other British Isles via the Royal Mail or Parcelforce.  All items will require signing for, unless the option is not available for your area or size of package.

Paying for your order:

We accept payment from all major credit cards (except American Express), debit cards or from your paypal account.  Payments can be processed through our preferred secure payment service provider, Sage Pay or alternatively you can make payment through a secure PayPal gateway.

Your goods will be reserved as soon as your order is received and your items will be dispatched once payment has been processed.  You will receive confirmation by e-mail that your payment has been processed and that your items have been dispatched.

Stock availability:

If an item is out of stock this will be clearly noted on the product page and we will at the earliest opportunity update this to indicate when the item will be available again.  If you would like to be notified when we receive the item please do not hesitate to contact us at enquiries@coochie-coo.co.uk. 

Promotional/special offers:

From time to time we may offer promotional/special offers.  If you have the opportunity to take part in these you may be provided with an offer code. Please keep this safe as you will only be able to receive the benefit with this code.

In you have an offer code you will be able to enter this when you proceed to the checkout and your basket will be automatically updated. 

Alternatively, some promotional/special offers may be determined by basket size, product type etc.  These offers will be automatically applied to your basket at the checkout if all the conditions of the offer have been met.
